The 4th Annual Champagne Showcase at Clark Park on Saturday, February 22nd was nothing short of spectacular. With the sun shining on a crisp 30-degree day, the rink was buzzing with energy as eight teams hit the ice for an incredible day of outdoor hockey, fundraising, and community spirit.

Presented by Labatt Blue and Delaware North Sports Services, this year’s Showcase set a new standard. Our goal was to raise $20,000 for the Clark Park Coalition, and thanks to the overwhelming support of our players, sponsors, and fans, we surpassed that number, raising $23,500. This event continues to grow, proving once again that Detroit loves its hockey and its community.

The beer tent was rocking, the DJ kept the vibes high all day, and the family skate between games was a heartwarming highlight. Seeing people of all ages take the ice together, from young kids lacing up their skates to longtime hockey lovers, was a reminder of what this event is all about: community, connection, and a shared love for the game.
