$28,000 RAISED: 2026 Champagne Showcase Delivers Another Great Year at Clark Park
February 21st, 2026 | Clark Park, Detroit, Michigan
What a year. After a rollercoaster of a week weather-wise, and a couple of compressor issues leading into the 5th annual Champagne Showcase at Clark Park, we were able to stick the landing and host six games and raise $28,000 for the park. This number exceeds the previous high of $23,500 set the year prior.
The coldest Michigan winter in recent memory decided to shoot up to 50 degrees for a couple days leading up to Showcase Saturday, but with round-the-clock work from the Clark Park team, some heavy fog preventing the sun from hitting the ice, and last minute temperature drops, it actually turned out to be one of the best ice-condition years we’ve ever had.
This was a special year not only because we were able to set a record for amount raised but because we increased the total number of teams to 12. This event started in 2021 with four teams and three games, and this year we’re proud to say we are up to 12 teams playing six games. We even got the one and only Monica Notaro to belt out the National Anthem for the Champagne-Bowline game. Nothing like the Anthem to get you juiced up to play hockey. Thanks for coming out, Monica!
Here’s how it all shook out:
Game 1:
- Glass Recyclers: 7, RFO Partners: 3
Game 2:
Game 3:
- The Brewsers Presented by Men’s League Sweaters: 6, Leña Detroit: 5
Game 4:
- Champagne Athletics: 11, Bowline Financial: 4
Game 5:
Game 6:
- Iris Mortgage: 10, Presses for Industry: 2
