What Is the Champagne Showcase?

The Champagne Showcase is an annual, community-driven day of outdoor hockey held at Clark Park (1130 Clark Ave, Detroit, MI 48209). What started in 2022 as a small four-team event has grown into a 12-team showcase that brings players, families, and local businesses together for a full day of outdoor hockey in Detroit’s Southwest Neighborhood.

The event was created to celebrate the game while giving back. Proceeds support the Clark Park Coalition, helping fund park programming, maintenance, and youth sports so the rink remains accessible, active, and thriving for Detroit families. In 2025 alone, the Showcase raised over $23,500 for the park, and 2026 marks the event’s fifth year of continued growth and impact .

As the Showcase continues to scale, we are actively seeking sponsorship support and raffle item donations. Sponsorship dollars help cover essential event costs, keep the event free for the community, and maximize the funds donated back to the park.
