What are we even holding on for? In what world do you see this ship straightening out and this guy leading the Lions to be Super Bowl contender, or even a formidable team? He was brought in to be a defensive specialist and all he has done and produce the most embarrassing defense the Lions have had since they went 0-16, which looks like a very strong possibility in 2020.

We fired Jim Caldwell because going 9-7 wasn’t good enough, yet in a little over 2 seasons, Matt Patricia’s regime has won a total of 9 games.

What will be the excuse after today’s game? What play of the Patriots do you guys think he will reference after this 21 point loss? He acts like he’s the smartest guy in the room after consistent mediocrity. Anyone who has left this place (Slay, Snacks, Diggs) have to just be ROTFL at everything that’s happening in Detroit right now, which, by the time this season ends, will be nothing outside of a boycotted practice. That protest will be the highlight of this season.

Matt Patricia undermines locker room leaders, talks to the media like they are idiots, and never takes any responsibility for any of the shit swirling around him. That’s not a guy I want leading Detroit’s football team. That’s not a winner.

I know I am a Matthew Stafford slappy and I defend everything he does…and there is 0 defense for that pick 6 he had today. But if he doesn’t play an absolutely perfect game, we are screwed. He gets absolutely zero support from his defense and at this point I am just starting to feel bad for him. Trade him to a team who needs a QB, watch him win a Super Bowl, then lets tank and ruin the career of Trevor Lawrence.
