The Wings, despite slipping up in Seattle have now won nine of their last 13 including four of five on the West Coast, putting them squarely back into the playoff race. No, like for real… they are one point back with FOUR games in hand on the two current wild card teams.

Last night’s win was pretty gutsy. And while Pius Suter scored two goals (one shorthanded) and Husso stood on his head again, I still think my favorite play game from Larkin, who got ejected in the first period.

He also got fined $5,000. Looked clean to me.

Additionally, I want to further drive home my point that all reports about the Wings, and anything, I mean ANYTHING Yzerman-related should be taken with a hockey-puck-sized grain of salt, Vrana reporting is the latest victim.
